<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">This week, we conducted an informal Case Study to see how Twitter (specifically a Tweet Contest) might drive traffic to two different Virtual Book Tour squeeze pages in a 24-hour period. The results were amazing:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">&gt;&gt; <strong>365 clicks</strong> on Virtual Book Tour squeeze pages in a 48-hour period for …</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">Maritza Para &#8230; <a href="http://www.clickandgrowrichbooktour.com/" target="_blank"><em>Click &amp; Grow Rich Online</em></a></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">Noah St. John &#8230; <a href="http://thebookinar.com/" target="_blank"><em>The Secret Code of Success</em></a></span></li>
</ul>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"><strong>What is a Tweet Contest?</strong><span> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">Well, there are many types.<span> </span>In most cases, there is a “give away” to the winner.<span> </span>I proposed the idea of a Twitter Contest to Maritza and Noah using this <a title="Explanation" href="http://fununlimitedinc.com/retweetmaritza.pdf" target="_blank">simple explanation</a>. <span> </span>Both Maritza and Noah were excited to participate and agreed to <strong>give away an autographed copy</strong> of their respective books to the winners. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">This is how we did it.  First, we <strong>posted contest instructions on a blog</strong> like <a title="Get Online in 2009" href="http://getonlinein2009.com" target="_blank">this</a>:<br />
</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">
<div id="attachment_75" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 618px">
	<img class="size-full wp-image-75" title="tweet-to-win-maritza" src="http://www.twitterbusinesssecrets.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/tweet-to-win-maritza.png" alt="Instructions on Blog Post" width="618" height="470" />
	<p class="wp-caption-text">Instructions on Blog Post</p>
</div>
<p>Then, I went ahead and entered the contest myself.  I sat back and watched the incredible stream on Twitter responses! Truly inspiring!</p>
<p>And, the fun continues.  <a href="http://twitter.com/MaritzaParra" target="_blank">Maritza</a> plans to give her winner more than an autographed book. She&#8217;s throwing in lots of bonus videos and cool gifts. Thank you!</p>
<div id="attachment_91" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 297px">
	<img class="size-full wp-image-91" title="winner-tweet-maritza" src="http://www.twitterbusinesssecrets.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/winner-tweet-maritza.png" alt="Winner Tweet" width="297" height="87" />
	<p class="wp-caption-text">Winner Tweet</p>
</div>
<p>In Noah&#8217;s case, <a href="http://www.guidetohomebasedbusiness.com/blog/?p=198" target="_blank">his contest</a> goes through <strong>February 26</strong>. So, y<strong>ou still have time to join in the fun and Tweet to win!</strong></p>
